( CHARACTER INFORMATION )
- ★ NAME: The Terminator
- ★ AGE: Unknown, looks to be in his mid-forties.
- ★ CANON INFORMATION: Here and here.

- ★ CANON POINT: The end of Judgment Day, after he’s lowered into the steel.
- ★ PERSONALITY: Solid, steady, and not one to mince words, the Terminator’s personality is reflected in the way he looks. He’s a sort that can be intimidating without really trying to, mainly due to his physical appearance, which stands at a muscular 6'2". He’s a bit on the extreme side, both in big and little aspects. In his very first interaction with people, he gets into a fight, injuring several people. When told not to kill, he instead painfully cripples. When told to steal a car, he yanks open the steering wheel shaft instead of looking for the keys.

Most of what has formed his personality is his interactions with John and Sarah Connor. John, being the one he interacts with the most, has the most imprinting on his personality. He persistently and successfully tried to get the Terminator to act more human, teaching him more relaxed vocabulary (Hasta la vista, baby), facial expressions, and most importantly, an overall a better way to value humanity and prove that they were worth saving. In turn, his untiring loyalty and support gave John the father figure he’d needed in his life. From Sarah, he first received nothing but contempt, as she considered him to be a mere machine. He had to prove himself to her through his battle prowess, showing that he could be trusted and accepted due to his loyalty and love for her son. By the end, she accepted him both as a fellow warrior and a member of their family.

The Terminator’s personality is, above all else, still a work in progress. He’s only really been interacting with people for a few days, and while basic things like love and hate have been picked up on, he’s yet to really understand the nuances of human nature. It takes John quite a bit of time just to get him to grow a conscience and understand that killing is wrong. When John starts crying, he doesn't understand what emotional impact the actions signifies. Things like jealousy, compassion, and envy are still a bit beyond him in terms of emotional understanding. If someone offers to help him with something, such as being injured, he just doesn't get why they are offering that help in the first place. When John tries to explain to him he can't kill people, he keeps questioning the order until the significance finally begins to be made clear to him.

While he does have his good points, such as a deep-seated loyalty for those he learns to care about and an overall appreciation for humanity, there’s also some bad qualities there as well. He considers human beings to be too self-centered for their own good at best and prone to their own destruction at worst. He mentions this view outright to John at one point, stating that human beings will eventually destroy themselves because it is in their nature. Merely interacting with a few good examples hasn't been enough to change his mind, as he never mentions recanting these views or changing them, even at the end of life. He’ll need to see them in action in order to be able to grow further past his biased, arrogant opinion.

- ★ COURT ALLIANCE: Seelie. The Terminator is truly neutral, neither fully committed to the ideas of good or bad. He could’ve fallen into either Court, but thanks to the influence of John Connor, he’s come to value the idea of human life, which pushes him more to the Seelie side. He now understands that simply killing people without whim or reason is no longer an option. On the other hand, crippling them or killing a truly evil person are both still valid options on the table. He’s got a personal code that directs him, the most important aspect of which states he is no longer merely a Terminator, a machine that kills without thought. Part of it has been programmed into it and part of it has been learned through interaction with people.

- ★ ABILITIES: Terminators are cybernetic organisms, living tissue grown over a metallic skeleton. This gives them greater strength, speed, and stamina than an ordinary human being. The Terminator is shown in canon to be able to throw grown men through windows with using only one hand, lifting up heavy guns with ease, and matching pace with a moving vehicle while on foot. He can sustain great physical damage without being shut down, and even if it happens, he possesses an emergency start-up mode if a proper alternative power source can be found. His living tissue can heal itself if given enough time. This has its limits, for when he loses an arm and an eye, they cannot be replaced and are instead reduced to the metal form found beneath the tissue.

Terminators are run by a CPU, a computer system that learns from people the more he interacts with them. While it’s not stated in detail what files are stored, he mentions having files on the Connor family, human anatomy, and Judgment Day (the day Skynet nuked humanity).

- ★ INVENTORY: Just the torn-up clothes on his back.

- ★ NETWORK SAMPLE: [At first glance, the face on the screen looks handsome, though perhaps a little intense. Staring off into the distance, the Terminator holds the locket in a fragile grip, like he’s afraid he might break it. Then he turns his face into the camera’s view and the once-handsome features turn into a nightmarish looking visage. The right side has mostly been ripped away, revealing the metal skull and glowing red eye beneath the bloody organic covering.]

I keep trying, but I cannot cross the barrier.

[He stares off again, turning the locket so that whoever’s watching gets a good shot of what he’s staring at: the flowery barrier between the Station and the rest of the Drabwurld.]

Anytime I try, my systems begin to shut down. I am stuck here at the Station.

[His voice is flat, but underneath, there’s a current of wonderment. He’s never found anything able to keep a Terminator in check before. To have it happen now is a curiosity that he wants to explore further. He takes a few steps more, until he’s right at the edge of the line.]

If anyone knows of a way for me to leave, I would like to hear it.
